What is the starfish difference?
The story of the starfish on the beach is about a person walking along a beach covered with stranded starfish. As they pick them up one by one and throw them back into the ocean, someone asks why bother, you can’t possibly help all of the starfish. The person replies, “It made a difference to that one.”

I have a BA in Spanish, a certificate in Genealogical Studies from Boston University, and a PLCGS from The International Institute of Genealogical Studies.
My interest in genealogy and family history began with my own family. I’m passionate about finding and preserving stories of the people that came before me. I find this work fulfilling and inspiring. We have so much to learn from the past, especially from our own family.
